Born and raised in Kansas, Laura’s [mostly] minimalist mentality was awakened when she moved to a tiny apartment in San Francisco.

An event planner by trade and problem solver at heart, Laura has spent more than a decade organizing homes and simplifying lives all over the country. She believes that the smallest changes can have the biggest impact, and the most lasting changes are the ones you make yourself. Using humor and tough love, she helps clients toss out their excuses along with their clutter. In addition to home consults and her popular virtual sessions, Laura spreads her life-simplifying messages to the masses through podcasts, publications and speaking engagements.

When she’s not celebrating your Goodwill donations or showing you how to DIY a drawer divider on Instastories, Laura can be found cheering on her two sons at take-your-pick sporting event or mountain biking for hours all over Marin County.
