3 Life Simplifying Moves

Want 3 simple life hacks that save a ton of time, eliminate 2 reasons for yelling and cost between $50 and $150 (depending on your level of fancy)? Then keep reading.

Stop the Match
Elliott used to walk out the door with one black baseball sock up to his thigh and one Steph Curry sock hugging his ankle. I couldn't take it anymore. Fortunately, my boys can wear the same socks, do not express themselves creatively through their socks and grab whatever is clean in the bin (conveniently located downstairs next to their shoes BTW). I donated good old socks (tossing all mismatched) and bought 2 packs of these. Now the socks go directly in the sock bin from the laundry (no wasting time matching them). And they will always match - height and color. Everybody wins.

Stop the Fold
I love that my cleaning fairies don't use paper towels (runs in our household) and instead use rags. I used to fold them and put them in their bin only to watch them pull them out and dump them in a basket when they arrived. Now, I dump and they dump, too. Again. Everybody wins.

Stop the Search
While beneficial for many I know, I have never felt the need for a charging station in our home. What's one more thing to deal with all the things, right? I get it now. I asked for this charging station for Christmas (fancier version here) and have to say, I'm in love. One thing for all of MY things - my phone, my airpods and my watch. I have not yelled at my kids for stealing my charger or searched for my airpods since receiving this magical box because guess what? No one else touches it. It's mine...all mine. And once again, everybody wins.

These hacks sum up my main purpose with this business: get organized in a cost efficient way to make people happy. Which step will you take to get one step closer to less mess and more life?
